Definition

अवरुद्ध हुए बिना किसी चीज़ का आगे बढ़ना या निरंतर चलना। यह अदालत में मामले या सुनवाई की कानूनी स्थगन को भी दर्शा सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह शब्द औपचारिक या कानूनी प्रसंगों में ज्यादा होता है। कानून में "continuance" का अर्थ सुनवाई आदि की स्थगना है, सिर्फ साधारण आगे बढ़ना नहीं। "Continuation" के साथ भ्रम न करें।
