Definition

心配は何かについて不安を感じること、あるいは重要で注意が必要な問題です。動詞としては、誰かに関係する・影響を与えるという意味もあります。

「have concerns about」「show concern for」などの表現でよく使われます。「心配」は日常会話でもフォーマルにも使われますが、ややかたい響きがあります。動詞「concern」は「関係がある」「影響する」と訳せます。

His health is my main concern right now.
