Kural, yasa ya da istek gibi bir şeye uymak veya yerine getirmek anlamına gelir. Genellikle resmi ya da otoriter durumlarda kullanılır.

Resmi ve kurumsal durumlarda kullanılır. Genellikle 'with' ile birlikte ('complied with the rules') kullanılır. 'Complained' (şikayet etmek) ile karıştırmayın.
