"commiserate with" in Japanese
Definition
誰かが悲しんでいる時や問題を抱えている時に同情したり共感したりすること。その人の失望や悲しみを理解し、気持ちを分かち合うこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ややフォーマルで文語的な表現。'commiserate with 人' という形で使われることが多いです。重大な悲劇よりも日常的な落ち込みや失望に使います。'console（なぐさめる）'よりも軽い感じ。
