अचानक सामने आना, नमूदार होना या चर्चा में आना, खासकर अप्रत्याशित रूप से। इसका अर्थ किसी के पास आना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह बोलचाल में बहुत आम है। समस्याओं, मौकों या अचानक उठने वाले विषयों के लिए ('A problem came up')। आमने-सामने आने या पास आने के लिए भी ('He came up to me')। शाब्दिक रूप से 'ऊपर जाना' के लिए नहीं (उसके लिए 'rise' या 'go up' का प्रयोग करें)।
