指来自某个地方、家庭或来源；用来说明某人或某事出生、开始或发展的地方。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

在正式和非正式语境中都常用，用来表达人的、事物的或思想的来源。通常后接地点、国家或背景。在有些语境下可表示“由...引起”。不要与“come to”（到达）、“come out”（出来/出现）混淆。
