詐欺師ペテン師

Definition

詐欺師とは、お金や利益のために人をだましたり、ごまかしたりする人のことです。たいていの場合、ささいな詐欺を働く人を指します。

「詐欺師」「ペテン師」は日常会話で使われるが、小規模な詐欺の場合によく使う。英語の“con artist”や“scammer”に似ているが、やや古めかしい響きがある。
