إصدار أصوات قصيرة، حادة ومتكررة؛ يُستخدم عادة لوصف غناء أو نداء الطيور الصغيرة أو الحشرات.

'Chirruping' يُستخدم بشكل أساسي في الوصف الأدبي لأصوات الطيور الصغيرة أو الحشرات الناعمة والمستمرة؛ أقل شيوعًا من 'chirping' ويميل ليكون أكثر رقة. لا يُستخدم للأصوات الصاخبة أو الكبيرة.
