Definition

'Champing' का मतलब है ज़ोर से या बेसब्री से चबाना, ख़ासतौर से घोड़ों के लिए या कभी-कभी लोगों के लिये। यह प्रतीक्षा करते समय बेचैनी भी दिखा सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Champing' औपचारिक या साहित्यिक शब्द है, आमतौर पर घोड़ों ('champing at the bit') के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। आम बोलचाल में लोगों के लिए दुर्लभ है; मुहावरे के रूप में ज़्यादा ('champing at the bit' मतलब बहुत इच्छुक/व्यग्र) इस्तेमाल होता है। 'Chomping' के साथ भ्रम हो सकता है।
