何かが泥や汗、汚れなどで厚く覆われている様子。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に泥や血、汗、汚れに対して使われます。「caked with mud」のように使い、食べ物にはほぼ使いません。「ケーキ」とは意味が異なります。
