누구를 바쁘게만 만들고 실제로는 가치나 의미가 없는 일이나 과제. 보통 학교, 회사 등에서 이런 일이 주어집니다.

주로 불평할 때 쓰며, 실제로 필요한 일에는 사용하지 않습니다. 'just busywork'는 '별 의미 없는 일'이라는 뉘앙스입니다.

My teacher gave us busywork to fill the last hour of class.
