번트라인

Definition

범선에서 사각돛의 아랫부분을 돛대 쪽으로 끌어올려 고정하거나 조정하는 데 사용하는 전용 밧줄입니다.

전통 범선과 같은 선박 관련 상황에서만 사용됩니다. "buntline hitch"(매듭)나 "Buntline Special"(총기)와는 다릅니다.

The sailor pulled the buntline to raise the sail.

선원은 돛을 올리기 위해 **번트라인**을 당겼다.
