"bumpkins" in Japanese

田舎や村の出身で、都会のマナーや洗練さがないと思われている人を指す侮辱的な言葉。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
とても侮辱的な表現なので、丁寧な場面では使わないほうがよい。例えば「country bumpkin（田舎者）」のように、田舎出身の人を馬鹿にする意味で使われる。
Examples
