"break in" in Portuguese (BR)
Definition
Entrar em um lugar à força, geralmente para roubar; interromper uma conversa; ou amaciar sapatos ou roupas novos usando-os.

"Break in" tem três sentidos principais: (1) invasão, não formal; (2) interromper uma conversa (informal); (3) amaciar sapatos ou roupas (neutro). Não confundir com "break into" (invadir). Costuma aparecer em "break in on a conversation" (interromper uma conversa).
