Definition

ブレーキマンとは、列車でブレーキ操作を担当する人。また、ボブスレーではゴール後にソリを止める役割の人。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

鉄道の歴史的・専門的な話で使われることが多い。現代の鉄道ではあまり見かけないが、ボブスレーでは一般的な役割。自動車には使わない。
