Definition

এটি সমুদ্র স্তন্যপায়ী প্রাণীর মাথার উপরে থাকা শ্বাস নেওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহৃত গর্ত; এছাড়াও এটি পাথর বা মাটিতে থাকা এমন একটি গর্ত বোঝায়, যেখানে দিয়ে বাতাস বা জল জোরে বের হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

মূলত তিমি ও ডলফিনের 'blowhole' বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ভূগোল বা উপকূল অঞ্চলে বায়ু বা জলের প্রবাহের গর্তকেও বোঝাতে পারে। মানুষের ক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োগ হয় না।
