Definition

সামাজিক অনুষ্ঠানে সবচেয়ে মনকাড়া ও চমৎকার নারী, যাকে সবাই মুগ্ধভাবে দেখে, তাকে 'সুন্দরী' বলা হয়। বেশিরভাগ সময় এটি ঐতিহাসিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি বেশ কবিতামূলক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক শব্দ, সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় কম ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'southern belle' বলতে দক্ষিণ যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সুন্দরী নারী বোঝায়।
