胃からガスが口を通して大きな音とともに出ることを指します。また、煙などが勢いよく出ることにも使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
『belch』は『burp』よりも少し固めの表現です。人や物（例：工場が煙を吐く）両方に使います。人前で大きなげっぷをするのはマナー違反とされます。
