"beg the question" in Japanese
Definition
証拠もなく何かを当然とみなす（論理的誤謬）、または発言から自然と新しい疑問が生まれる場合に使われます。

本来は論理学用語（循環論法）ですが、日常会話では「自然と疑問が生じる」といった意味で使われます。'質問する' とは異なります。
Examples
His argument begs the question because it assumes what it should prove.
彼の主張は**問いを投げかける**。なぜなら証明すべきことを前提としているからだ。
Saying 'lying is wrong because it's bad' begs the question.
