マットレスの下や中にある、寝たときの支えや快適さを提供するための金属製のバネのこと。

通常は複数形で使われ、「bedspringsのきしみ」など、古いベッドやマットレスでよく表現されます。最近のマットレスには見えるスプリングがないことが多いです。
