Definition

বিছানার ফ্রেমের চার কোণে থাকা উঁচু বা খাড়া খুঁটি, সাধারণত সাজসজ্জার জন্য বা ছাউনি ধরে রাখতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'বিছানার খুঁটি' সাধারণত চার কোনায় থাকলে বোঝায়। আধুনিক বিছানায় কম দেখা যায়। 'headboard' বা 'footboard' থেকে আলাদা; কেবলমাত্র খুঁটি অর্থে ব্যবহার করুন।
