"Beaters" costuma referir-se às varetas metálicas ou utensílios usados para misturar ou bater ingredientes na cozinha, especialmente em pastelaria. Pode também ser usado informalmente para descrever um carro velho ou, raramente, pessoas que batem tambores ou conduzem animais numa caça.
