Definition
Mezclar algo rápida y fuertemente, usualmente con un tenedor o batidor, para hacerlo suave o agregar aire. Muy usado en cocina, especialmente con huevos o masas.

Se usa mucho en cocina ('bate los huevos'). No confundir con 'batir' que también se usa para líquidos, cremas y masas. 'Bate' es el imperativo de 'batir'.
