Definition

কোনো কিছু সত্যি বলে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ঘোষণা বা প্রমাণ করা, সাধারণত নিজের অভিজ্ঞতা বা প্রমাণের ভিত্তিতে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি বেশি ফরমাল ও আইনি প্রয়োজনে ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'attest under oath' বা 'attest to the facts'. সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় এর বদলে 'confirm' বা 'prove' ব্যবহার হয়।
