用于表示某人正在工作场所或正在工作。也可以指某人在忙于工作事务。

在正式和非正式场合都常用。常见短语有“整天在工作”、“还在工作”、“工作很忙”。不用于学生（应说“在学校”）。有时表示“因为工作”的意思。

She is at work now.

My dad gets home late from at work.
