현재 상태를 설명할 때 쓰이며, 일이 평범하게 진행되고 있다는 의미가 많다.

비공식적, 구어에서 자주 쓰이며 문장 끝에 오는 경우가 많음. 상황을 받아들이는 뉘앙스. 'as it were'와는 의미가 다르니 혼동하지 말 것.
