Expressão informal usada para apresentar o ponto principal, razão ou problema em uma conversa, geralmente para destacar o que realmente importa ou dificulta a situação.

Muito informal, usada em conversas para esclarecer ou enfatizar o verdadeiro problema. Aparece no início: 'the thing of it is...'. Parecida com 'o ponto é', mas ainda mais coloquial.
