누군가가 어떤 행동이나 사건을 막 시작하려는 순간임을 나타낼 때 사용한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 공식적이거나 중립적인 상황에서 사용. 영어에서는 동사에 -ing형이 오지만, 한국어에서는 '막 ~하려던 참'이나 '하려는 순간'처럼 자연스럽게 쓸 수 있다. 일상 회화에서는 'about to'가 더 자연스럽다.
