쏜살같이 가로지르다

Definition

한 쪽에서 다른 쪽으로 매우 빠르게 이동하는 것. 보통 차량, 사람, 동물이 빠르게 지나갈 때 사용함.

구어체이며 생동감 있음. 차량이나 사람이 빠르게 지나갈 때 자주 쓰임('zoom across the street'). 공식적인 상황에는 적합하지 않음.

The cat zoomed across the road to catch a bird.

고양이가 새를 잡으려고 길을 **쏜살같이 가로질렀다**.
