田舎や地方出身で洗練されていない、教養がないと見なされる人への侮蔑的な呼び方。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
非常に失礼で侮辱的な表現なので、直接人に使わないこと。'bumpkin' や 'hillbilly'と同様の意味合い。
