主にアメリカ英語で使われるインフォーマルなスラング表現で、あいさつや賛成を示す際に用いられる。「やあ」「そのとおり！」のような意味。

非常にカジュアルで主にヒップホップ文化や若者言葉で使用される。あいさつや同意の意味。「Word.」と短縮される場合も。フォーマルな場では用いない。
