体罰や厳しいお仕置きを受けること、または試合などで圧倒的に負けることを指すくだけた表現。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
口語的な表現で、親や大人が子供を叱る場合や、スポーツなどで大敗した時に使う。「whooping」（歓声・応援）とは意味が異なるので注意。
