Definition

옛날 범선에서 키를 움직여 배를 조종할 때 사용하던 목재 막대입니다. 선박 조타핸들이 등장하기 전까지 쓰였습니다.

주로 해양사나 박물관에서만 볼 수 있는 역사 용어입니다. 현대 선박에서는 조타핸들이 사용됩니다.
