Definition

誰かに失礼な言葉や不適切な表現を控えて、もっと丁寧に話すよう注意を促す表現です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

大人や先生、親が失礼な言葉や汚い言葉を使った子どもなどに向けて使います。やや厳しく礼儀正しい注意です。言い間違えではなく、主に悪い言葉への警告です。
