식당에서 손님에게 음식과 음료를 서빙하는 일을 하는 것.

주로 미국식 표현으로, '서빙하다'는 웨이터/웨이트리스로 일할 때 사용한다. 패스트푸드나 단순 테이블 치우는 일에는 쓰지 않는다.
