宣誓している場合、特に法廷などで正式に真実を話すと約束した状態です。宣誓のもとで嘘をつくのは重い犯罪です。

主に法廷や公式な場面で使われます。例えば「宣誓して証言する」など。宣誓して嘘をつくことは『偽証』に該当します。
