Definition

お腹が空いている時や美味しい料理を、勢いよく美味しそうに食べ始めること。

主にイギリス英語のくだけた表現。『tuck into』は食事のときに、勢いよく・おいしそうに食べる状況で使う。丁寧に食べる場合には使わない。

The children tucked into the pizza as soon as it arrived.
