실처럼 흐르다조금씩 오다

Definition

보통 액체가 가늘고 천천히 흐르는 것을 뜻하거나, 어떤 것이 소량씩 서서히 일어나는 상황에서도 사용된다.

주로 액체에 쓰지만, 돈이나 사람이 조금씩 들어오거나 나가는 상황에도 쓴다. 'drip'이 방울 떨어짐이라면 'trickle'은 가늘게 흘러내림이다.

Water began to trickle from the faucet.

수도꼭지에서 물이 **실처럼 흐르기** 시작했다.

A small trickle of people entered the room.

조금씩 **사람들이** 방으로 들어왔다.
