何かが本当であることを強調したり、確かめたりする時に使う表現です。また、確認のために何かをする時にも使います。

フォーマル・インフォーマルどちらでも使われます。強調したいときは文頭、または何かを確認する行動前後に使います。英語の 'certainly' のようにも使えます。
