'Thicker' भौतिक आयामों (मोटी दीवारें), तरल गाढ़ापन (गाढ़ा सूप), वृद्धि की घनता (घने बाल/जंगल), या लहजे का वर्णन कर सकता है। मुहावरा 'blood is thicker than water' का मतलब है खून का रिश्ता सबसे मज़बूत होता है। 'Thick as thieves' का मतलब है बहुत करीबी दोस्त।
