因為某人做錯事而生氣地跟他說話;訓斥或責備某人。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
多用於非正式場合,常對小孩、學生或下屬訓斥。“tell off”比“警告”強,但沒“嚴厲懲處”那麼正式。常見搭配:“get told off”,“tell someone off for (做某事)”。不是“告訴”的意思。
