إزالة شيء بسرعة وبقوة عن طريق سحبه أو تمزيقه من سطح ما. قد تعني أيضاً مغادرة المكان فجأة.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تعبر عن الاستخدام غير الرسمي وغالباً مع الورق أو الملصقات أو الملابس ('tear off a label'). قد تستخدم أيضاً بمعنى 'يغادر بسرعة' ('tear off down the road'). لا تخلطها مع 'tear up' (يمزق إلى قطع صغيرة). غالباً تعني حركة سريعة وقوية.
