Definition

কারো ওপর খুব কঠোরভাবে সমালোচনা করা, অথবা কিছু খাবারে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে তাড়াতাড়ি খাওয়া বোঝায়। মাঝে মাঝে আক্রমণাত্মকভাবে কাউকে শারীরিকভাবে হামলা করার অর্থও হতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অানানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়; সাধারণত 'tear into someone' মানে কঠোরভাবে ধমকানো বা নিন্দা করা, এবং 'tear into the food' মানে খেতে গিয়ে লাফিয়ে পড়া। অফিসিয়াল লেখায় এড়িয়ে চলুন।
