テイスターは、料理や飲み物の味を確認するために少量を試す人、または試食として提供されるごく少量のサンプルのことです。

「テイスター」はワインやコーヒーなどの業界でも使われますが、お店の試食などカジュアルな場面でも「試食」と言います。プロのテイスターは「ワインテイスター」などとも表現します。
