からかういじる

Definition

冗談っぽく、ふざけて人をからかったり、いじったりすること。真剣なふりをして冗談を言う場合も多い。

イギリスのカジュアルな表現。ふざける、軽くいじる場面で使い、深刻な悪口には使わない。「Are you taking the mick?」は「からかってるの？」の意味。フォーマルな場では使わない。

Are you taking the mick out of me?

私のことを**からかって**るの？

He likes to take the mick during class.
