Asumir que algo ya se sabe, se entiende o se da por hecho sin discutirlo ni preguntarlo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se utiliza principalmente en inglés británico, de manera formal o semiformal, sobre todo en reuniones o escritos. Suele ir con 'can/could/must/let's take as read that...'. No es lo mismo que 'take for granted', que es más general.
