무언가를 이미 알고 있거나 동의했다고 생각하고 따로 이야기하거나 묻지 않는 것.

주로 영국 영어, 공식 미팅이나 문서에서 사용. 'can/could/let's take as read' 형태가 흔하다. 'take for granted'와 의미가 조금 다르다.
