Definition
Tentar acertar alguém ou algo com um movimento rápido do braço ou de um objeto, geralmente em uma luta ou esporte.

Muito usado em esportes (como beisebol) e brigas. Indica a tentativa de golpe, não o acerto. Normalmente seguido pelo alvo ('swing at a bola'). Não é usado em situações cotidianas.
