主に虫などを手や物で素早く叩いて打つこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

よく蚊やハエなどの虫を叩いて殺す時（'swatted a fly'）に使われます。人に対して深刻な暴力には使いません。軽い動きやじゃれる意味合いも含みます。
