Definition

कीड़े, जानवरों या लोगों के बड़े समूह जो एक साथ एक ही दिशा में चलते हैं। यह आमतौर पर उड़ने वाले कीड़ों (जैसे मधुमक्खियों) के लिए उपयोग होता है, लेकिन भीड़ के लिए भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर कीड़ों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है, पर कभी-कभी लोगों या जानवरों के समूह के लिए भी। 'swarms of' वाक्यांश प्रचलित है। एकवचन है 'swarm'। इसे 'herd' (पशुओं के लिए), 'flock' (पक्षियों/भेड़ों के लिए) के साथ न मिलाएँ।
